The Opun difference

Opun_1000x625_01Here’s a customer magazine pilot issue that came out really well. Working with Vivid Content Marketing, I put together all the copy for a 12-page magazine for customers of the new home improvement service Opun. Opun is like Uber, but for people who want an extension. Or a new bathroom or kitchen.

Instead of going to the Yellow Pages or searching online, you give Opun a ring, tell them what you want and they pull together all the builders, plumbers, carpenters and whatever else you need, get you a quote, and project manage the whole thing. Feedback is shared between the customer, Opun and the parties working on the job via Opun’s app.

Opun wanted to get that across to potential customers in a stylish way, adding value through interesting home interior articles and advice, while also explaining just what the proposition is. Vivid’s content director Sean Atkins planned out what would be included in the magazine, then handed it over to me to execute the job, while creative director Rob Abbott laid it out. I worked with him tweaking the layouts, image selection and refining the call to action hits, and the word back from the client was: “We love it.”

Go ahead, and have a read of what we wrote:
